About the Course
Handmade paper making workshop in Sudbury using plants.
Join the charismatic Charlie on this exciting half-day workshop learning the ancient craft of making paper from plants. Handmade paper is a creative medium that has become popular with artists and craftspeople. Used widely in art and design, maybe to showcase a special piece of work with it's soft deckled edges. You will gain the knowledge to be able to produce your own paper from home with plants from your garden or hedgerows with the aid of a few tools. Charlie will also show students how to make a dip pen from hazel and birchbark and some handmade ink. By the end of the workshop each student will have made their own paper, a dip pen and some handmade ink to take home with them.

What's included in the price?
All tools and materials are included. There is ample on-site parking and disabled access. Light refreshments are included in the price. Due to the popularity of our workshops, pre-booking is essential.
