About the Course
Beautiful Bunting for your home, garden or party!
Bunting workshop - you’ll make up to 3m double-sided bunting.
You'll measure and cut your fabric, then sew and attach your bunting pieces onto cotton tape, or if you get time - make your own bias binding!
You have the opportunity to personalise your bunting using bondaweb, hand stitching, machine embroidery or appliqué lettering.
Beginners - simple envelope style
Improvers - add zip, piping, or tassels!
Garland - You'll make Suffolk Puffs using up those treasured scraps of fabric, then attach to ribbon to create a decorative garland.

Toolkit and resource list - You'll need to bring:
- Fabric / lining if required
- Sewing thread
Sewing kit containing:
- Spare fabric, scissors, pins, needles, etc
- Fabric shears & small, sharp scissors
- Pins & Needles
A Sewing machine may be available to borrow, please let me know if you require one
Aliss Vaas has trained and worked in Fashion, Costume, Flag & Banner Making and Carnival Arts.
She has a City & Guilds Tutor Qualification and has been teaching for over 15 years in Greater Manchester, Bath and Frome.
