About the Course
We are delighted to have teamed up with Craft Sanctuary to bring you this embroidery retreat. Taking place in the picturesque Beaumont Estate, close to Old Windsor, this 2-night escape is the ideal opportunity to meet like-minded people, learn a new skill or indulge in your favourite hobby.
Take part in four workshops across the weekend with Royal School of Needlework qualified tutor, Kate Barlow. The pretty design you will be working on uses crewel wool and beading to create a fun and colourful embroidery. On the first day we’ll cover a variety of surface stitches including stem, chain, fly and satin stitches as well as woven wheels and French knots. On the second day we’ll embellish the piece with seed and bugle beads to add another dimension and a little sparkle.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
