About the Course
If you are looking for a craft break where you get to try out the best of home crafts that are easy to take up when you get home then this is the break for you.
A visit to the stunning Dorset coast whilst taking part in craft classes that will relax and rejuvenate you.
The Blue Shutters Guest House will be your base and craft studio for the weekend; located with an easy stroll into Ashley Cross where there is an abundance of cafés and restaurants. Poole and Bournemouth town centres and beaches are just a short bus ride away with buses passing the Guest House in both directions. Breakfast is included and all rooms are en suite; with super comfortable beds and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a beautiful garden where we will craft (weather permitting), ample parking and automated check in so that you can arrive at a time that suits you.
Daisy’s 60 Minute Crafts will introduce you to an array of crafts including: Macramé, Needle Felting, Lino Printing, Paper Cutting and Pyrography with each session guiding you to produce a quality crafted item to take home. Craft sessions will last between 1 and 2 hours leaving you time to explore this beautiful part of the country too.
Friday - Arrive and settle into the Guest House with welcome drinks at 2pm and your first craft session 3-5pm. Fish and chip super if pre-ordered. Then a craft session from 7-9pm
Saturday- Breakfast and chance for a free morning to explore before a craft session at 1:30–3:00pm. Tea and cake break and then more crafts 4-6pm. An evening to enjoy one of the many restaurants in Ashley Cross or Poole.
Sunday - Breakfast followed by craft sessions 10am-12pm. An afternoon to explore the area or a chance to start the journey home.
