About the Course

This workshop is one of our Cosmeti-Craft courses.
You can choose to make one product from soap, bath bomb, moisturiser, body butter, scrub, lip balm or solid shampoo for £9. You can choose to add more cosmetic makes to your workshop session if you wish.

If you choose bath bombs, it will teach you the basics in bath bomb making with a basic recipe and beginners method for making your own bath bomb and then an advanced method with more refined ingredients and equipment to give your bath bomb a professional finish. Your course host will instruct you and make a bath bomb with you to follow in a full tutorial.

If you choose Soap Making, you will learn a simple ‘melt and pour’ method which is the safest way to make soap and concentrates on the experimental and creative side of soap making, learning the effects of different ingredients that can be added. Our huge choice of ingredients and soap moulds leaves endless possibilities for creating your own recipe.

If you choose solid shampoo, you are on the way to reducing your plastic consumption! Solid shampoo means no waste, no plastic bottle packaging, no spills when travelling, and it’s ideal if you are travelling abroad as it doesn’t use any of your liquid allowance! You will learn which ingredients compliments which hair types and the functions of different ingredients.

If you choose to make a scrub, you will learn the beneficial properties of different scrub types you can make and the effects of your ingredients choices. You will take home a professional pot with your own made ingredients label.

If you choose to make moisturiser, our range of subtle fragrances for you to choose from and extra ingredients choices will leave you with an extremely nourishing moisturiser, presented in a professional pot with your own made ingredients label.

If you choose to make body butter, you will be given an in-depth lesson on butters, oils, their properties, benefits and functions. You will make an extremely naturally nourishing product, presented in a professional pot with your own made ingredients label.

Lastly, if you choose to make lip balm, you will learn the complexity of lip balm ingredients and how to achieve certain appearances and functions once your lip balm is applied. You will take home a professional lip balm stick.

You will learn about the effects of different ingredients that can be added to each cosmetic you choose to make.

Your workshop session includes tea and coffee.

We have 3 workshop locations. Our main workshop is Abbeydale Road, Sheffield and we also have a Sheffield city centre workshop just a stones throw from the train station! We also have packages available at our Rotherham workshop. See photos for full details on workshops!
