Join us for a unique evening learning the traditional craft of straw plaiting onboard our First Class carriage at Ecclesbourne Valley Railway in Wirksworth. You'll spend time learning the techniques needed to create 2 different designs of corn dollies. This workshop is suitable for beginners. Your tutors will be Sally and Claire who together run Wild Roots Creative; a not for profit organisation offering traditional and heritage crafts supporting people for positive mental health.
