Explore the tradition of corn dollies, prepare your own straw and develop the techniques of making a corn dolly and other small items of this rarely practiced countryside craft that is now considered to be critically endangered. You will take home all items made with supporting handouts to help support your learning.
The course will be delivered by Miranda Cowan, who has practiced ecology and the delivery of environmental courses for 16 years, including corn dollies, green woodworking, wild foraging, woodland management, flora and fauna identification and field surveying.
