About the Course
Explore the exotic and fragrant cuisine of Southern China. Your Chinese tutor will guide you as you learn to prepare authentic recipes from the South such as fish fragrant chicken strips, Yangzhou stir fried rice, tofu in black bean sauce, chicken stir fried rice and prawn dumplings.
You will receive an introductory talk and explanation to give you some background to the cuisine, followed by step-by-step demonstration of the dishes, then you will prepare the dishes yourself with one-to-one help from your tutor as required. Recipe hand-outs will be provided.

What's included in the price?
An ingredients list will be sent out before the first session – ingredients are likely to cost in the region of £10. Basic equipment is provided in the school kitchens but in addition you will need to bring a pair of chopsticks, as well as a tea towel, washing up liquid, dish cloths and containers to transport your food home in.
