About the Course

Come and enjoy a day of freehand machine embroidery with Annie Morris. Annie has been creating work with freehand or 'freemotion' embroidery for 20 years!

Start your day learning the basics and create lots of samples to refer to. There is definitely a knack to this fascinating technique. You will need to bring your own machine and leads as it is better for you to learn on your own machine. As long as you can either lower the machines' feed dogs or have a plate cover, your machine will be suitable.

You are welcome to bring any materials with you that you may like to play with but many materials and threads will be provided. Feel free to bring any imagery that inspires you or (if you have one), your sketchbook! Additional materials and haberdashery equipment will be available to purchase on the day. Places must be booked in advance via our website. Classes are kept small and friendly!

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

Complimentary tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day.
