A half-day with Rob Buckley looking at cob cottages; from understanding their original earth construction techniques to discussing suitable methods of repair and upkeep, using Lime and natural materials. A lecture and demonstration based half day packed full of invaluable information for anyone living in an earth constructed home.

Dorset Centre for Rural Skills (DCRS) was established in 2003 as a not-for-profit, training enterprise with the aim of 'keeping rural skills alive'. It achieved the Social Enterprise Mark in 2009 and was one of the first organisations in Dorset to do so.
DCRS has a strong environmental ethos and runs a range of practical craft, building and rural skills courses.
