The course is suitable for you if you have achieved competence in the use of simple patterns, machinery and garment construction but wish to improve and develop your skills to a professional level in all types of garment making. Previous attendance of x 2 Beginners Clothes Making courses (or equivalent) will provide a good foundation for the Intermediate level .The Advanced level is suitable for those who have completed two or more intermediate level courses(or equivalent). You may wish to enrol on the morning and afternoon class to benefit from a full day's tuition .

Mode of delivery: In centre-social distancing
Activities: Teaching is as a whole class and an individual one to one basis. Demonstrations, discussions, examples, samples, hand-outs and other technical support materials are used where appropriate. Students will be actively encouraged to make notes and photo documentation as the course progresses.
Assessment methods: Achievement on your course will be measured by whether you meet the learning outcomes above. At the start of the course you will have an opportunity to discuss these with your tutor and set your own personal targets, linked to the learning outcomes and future goals, i.e. progression to an advanced level courses. In order to ensure you make the best possible progress on your course, you will have regular constructive and supportive feedback from your tutor.
