I recently finished this course and I really enjoyed it. Martin the instructor was very informative in a friendly and easy to follow manner. The centre was well equipped and the staff there are lovely. The best course I have ever been on.

Fantastic beginner course introducing you to pottery wheel throwing. I’ve done some clay work in the past, but never used a potters wheel before. We learnt how to centre on the wheel, form a pot, pull up the sides, how to make different shapes and even how to make a plate. All materials and firing are included and Martin will fire a selection of the pots you make for you to take home. Very chilled environment at the Barlick Art & Craft Drop-In Studio and Martin is a fantastic teacher. I enjoyed it so much that I’ve done the course twice now. Highly recommend!
