Hello, I'm Sharon, an experienced sculptor & clay artist. I regularly host fun & informal sculpting sessions from The Potters Sister clay studio in Chorley, Lancashire. The class is suitable for beginners and can be attended by up to 5 persons. The class is for adults aged 18 and over and runs Daytime and Evenings. Come & join us in making either a Highland cow, hare, fox, dog, cat or elephant in clay. We work at your pace with step-by-step tuition throughout. You will learn how to shape, mould and sculpt clay by hand, making fabulous memories & a clay creation to treasure. If you wish to make your own sitting pet dog, we will need several photos a few days before your class starts. If you are wanting a different animal or pet, contact us via the 'message the tutor' button to see if this is possible in the session time. Once you've created your master piece it stays with us for firing, ready to be painted at home with acrylics, OR you may wish to return to the studio to glaze your item. This is an optional extra at a cost of £15pp. The potters sister pottery studio is based in the Market Town of Chorley, situated within a few minutes walk from local transport links. The studio is the sister studio of The crafty potter, Heskin. The class makes a fabulous gift for all occasions.
