About the Course

IDC are working in association with Leicester College to bring you a range of Level 1 City & Guilds Awards and Certificates.

This course is for a Level 1 Award in Sewing Machine Techniques. You will learn sewing machine skills such as how to thread a machine, how to look after your machine, how to make basic stitches and produce samples.

The course is suitable for absolute beginners and those wishing to obtain an internationally recognised qualification in a craft skill. Many students use the Award to gain college places and start a business.

The Award includes 30 guided teaching hours.

The Award usually retails at £395, however if you book via IDC you can obtain the discounted price at £255. However, you need to book via this site or via IDC to obtain this discount.
