About the Course

Carve your way to Christmas at the Heritage Skills Centre!

You'll start with a low relief stylistic nativity design, which will then be mounted on a small pre-prepared piece of hardboard for a stunning effect. It may be hung on a wall or Christmas tree, or standing and leaning against a wall. Following this, there will be a choice of more Christmas themed set piece subjects to carve, either in low relief or a choice of stamps to personalize your Christmas cards or other stationery etc.

This course will run 10:00 to 16:00.

This course is suitable for beginners age 16 +. Please wear comfortable casual clothes with closed toe shoes.

The Heritage Skills Centre at Lincoln Castle has been offering hands on experience and training since 2013. See our website to browse the wide range of taster days, short courses and demonstrations in craft, conservation and traditional building skills.
