About the Course
In this lovely Christmassy class we will be doing screen printing on fabric. You can choose a variety of items to print from a bag, cushion cover, table centre, tea towels, pencil cases, bunting or even a stocking! You will learn the technique in a relaxed atmosphere and go away with some beautiful items to give out to friends and family or to just keep for yourself! If you don't fancy doing something for Christmas, you can make whatever you choose.
In this beginners workshop we will be learning the paper stencil method of screen printing.
In the morning you will learn the basics of the practice, the cutting of the stencils with scalpels and a practice session. Then we will work on the designs that will be printed onto paper and a lovely boxed set of cards.
The studio sits on the hillside near Crickhowell, surrounded by nature, with stunning views over the Usk valley and Brecon Beacons. It will be a fun, relaxed day where you will go home with work you will be proud to send out to people.
The course runs from 10 until 4. I can take a maximum of four on this course. If this date is unsuitable I am happy to take other bookings, please call if you would like a chat about it.

This course was brilliant fun, and I was delighted with my finished set of cards. Rachel made everything very easy and shared her extensive knowledge and enthusiasm with us. All the equipment you need is provided and the setting is in such a beautiful location, it really was a treat to go there. I will definitely be back for another course!

The course was excellent, and it was so good to try a new skill. Rachel is such a patient teacher, and explained the whole procedure so well. The environment is so beautiful at the workshop, so peaceful and lovely. Rachel made the day fun and relaxing, and I enjoyed spending time with the others on the course. I hope to attend many more courses with Rachel in the future. Thank you so much for the great experience.

We had such a wonderful day. Its in a beauiful area and was so relaxing. Rachel is a very patient, kind teacher. I felt that I'd really learned something. As a disabled student, things can be more difficult, but not here. Every effort was made to enure I was happy & comfortable. I would definitly recommend this course. I'm hoping to come back soon to take the other courses that Rachel is teaching.
