About the Course
Get into the creative Christmas spirit!
In this 4 hour workshop you will learn all you need to make and print some amazing Christmas bits from lino carvings, no matter what artistic skill level you currently have! Taught by artist Georgia de Buriatte, in the beautiful Nutshell Arts.
We will begin with small circular lino stamps, perfect for gift tags and repeat pattern papers! This will give you a grasp of the lino carving process before we move onto larger piece to make some beautiful cards! Don't worry if you aren't sure, there will be plenty of books and real life lino examples for inspiration, from Georgia's personal collection.
You will get pack of practice paper, different coloured cards, gift tags, gift bags, and a sheet of wrapping paper (all sustainably sourced) to make into beautiful handmade gifts!
Lino is also perfect for printing cards, t-shirts, bags, general artwork, and much more. So along with all the materials provided do feel free to bring other bits to print on, in order to try out making some individual gifts! A great pre-christmas gift; way to make your gift giving more sustainable; Christmas part; or perfect way to get you and your friends more into the festive spirit!
And of course, drinks and christmassy nibbles will be provided.
