Chinese Knotting

Chinese Knotting

Come and learn all about this fascinating craft and make a bracelet or a brooch using Chinese knots. With careful guidance, you will learn to tie Chinese knots using satin cord (rat-tail cord) with a few beads added. You will then be shown the techniques needed for finishing off ends and stitching down beads so they stay in place.

There is an additional cost of £3 for Brooches and £6 for Bracelets for materials payable in cash to the tutor on the day.

Please also bring, glass-headed pins, a block of polystyrene to stick pins into, sewing needle & neutral thread, a pencil & colour pencils and a pair of scissors.

Windows will be open to ensure the room is well ventilated, so please also bring a warm layer of clothing.

Refunds are not available on this booking. Start dates may be amended on request.

We will provide morning and afternoon refreshments and a light lunch.
