About the Course
This is a slow-paced meditative yoga class that will focus mostly on laying down and sitting positions. The asanas are held for longer periods in order to apply moderate stress to the connective tissue of the body, the tendons, fascia, and ligaments to increase circulation in the joints, improving flexibility. This class offers a restorative approach to yoga.
Who is this course for
This is a mixed ability class ideal for those who look for a more gentle type of yoga regardless their fitness levels. Students should be able to do exercise sitting on the floor, kneeling and lying down.
You should be reasonably fit for this class, please seek advice from a health professional if you have any concerns regarding participating in Yoga.
What does this course cover
Students will be able to perform deep stretches with emphasis on realigning the spine, they will also learn concentration, cleansing and breathing techniques.
