Children's Sewing Class - Learn to sew with your child
Contact course provider
About the Course
Spend some quality time with your child or grandchild and learn new skills together for a shared hobby.
Learn how to use a sewing machine with your child or grandchild and make some pretty bunting together to decorate their bedroom or be ready for the first summer garden party! If you prefer a more advanced project we can teach you how to make a drawstring, reversible, strip patchwork bag instead.
You and your child guest will each learn how to use your sewing machine or you can hire one of ours. You'll learn how to thread and sew straight lines, draw and cut fabric using scissors or rotary cutters, sew and turn through pieces, press and finish your project with ribbon or bias binding.
Sounds easy? Try it with a laughing, giggly child and have lots of fun in our special Easter workshop.
The workshop will be taught in a lovely well-lit vaulted ceiling hall with easy access and ample parking.
If you have any mobility issues let us know in advance and we will carry your sewing machine in for you.
Classes will be very small so you'll get plenty of tutor time and help to work on your project.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
