About the Course

A great class for children who want to learn to sew!

Our sewing classes are relaxed and friendly, taking place at our beautiful studio at Holme Grange Craft Village in Wokingham, Berkshire.

You will learn:
- Choosing fabric and threads
- Measuring your fabric ready for cutting
- Threading the machine
- Using a foot pedal
- Sewing straight lines
- Finishing seams

The class is suitable for children 8 years and upwards, and we focus on making sewing accessible, safe and enjoyable! The children are supervised at all times and for younger children the fabric will be cut for them by the tutor. Our sewing machines are all speed controlled so they can take things nice and slowly and any pressing is done by the tutor.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

All materials are included. The students can choose from our range of cotton poplins for their cushion cover and this and the cushion pad is also included.
