Contact course provider
About the Course
Beautifully intricate patterns can be woven with metal links, and this class will show you the basics to get started with chainmaille weaving. Using rings made with your choice of silver or gold-plated wire, you'll learn to make a gorgeous helmweave bracelet. Enjoy a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and a cup of tea (and biscuits, of course!).
Suitable for complete beginners, you will be guided through every step by Wendy, owner of The Little Craftery, and life-long crafter.
The workshop runs for approximately two hours. Enjoy a chat with like minded people and learn some new skills! All materials and refreshments are included in the price.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
All tools, materials, drinks and snacks are provided!
Thank you for your patience and clear instructions while we made a beautiful bracelet. Looking forwards to joining you for other courses soon.

I enjoyed the class and learning a new skill. Teaching was relaxed, clear and friendly. The environment was good, large and light. All the equipment was supplied. Nice to get refreshments.
I didn’t score excellent as I didn’t finish my bracelet and perhaps course should be 30 mins longer.
Also kits to take away to do another bracelet would be a good selling idea, or the rings prepacked in bags 10,20 etc

Response from The Little Craftery:Hi Lucy,
Thanks so much for your review. I think you're right, a slightly longer class might be easier, as it is quite a tricky skill to pick up. I'll look into lengthening it. I love the idea of packaging little kits, I'll get on to that too! :)
You did brilliantly well on the class, and hopefully now you're very pleased with a finished bracelet. Don't forget that if you have any trouble with your chainmaille, you're more than welcome to pop in or get in touch and I'll be happy to help any way I can.
I'll see you at your next class! :)
