About the Course

Learn some of the key skills of a sculptor (Pinch, slab & coil) and in the process, you will create your very own masterpiece that you can be proud of. This workshop is suitable for the complete beginner.
What will the course or workshop cover and how will it be taught?

The workshop will cover the fundamental skills of a sculptor, slab, pinch and coil. I will fully explain the techniques, processes, tools and the materials we use to create the sculpture. The day will be at a pace set by the group where each step is demonstrated before the participants attempt it themselves (with tutor support).

By the end of the course/workshop you will:

-Have had a great learning experience within a small supportive friendly group.
-Have learned several key skills necessary to build a sculpture.
-You would have made a ceramic hare that you can be proud of and eventually keep or give to someone as a gift.
On the day the tutor will advise when the work can be collected.
