Contact course provider
About the Course
Learn how to make natural soy wax scented candles (with wood wicks) plus bar soap (the simple way) - in a relaxed, informal setting in ‘The Wicked Wick’ home kitchen.
Workshops take place in Stamford (or occasionally at a nearby local venue).
During the workshop we will discuss candle making science, equipment, different types of material plus quality and proper handling, including smelling and discussing lots of fragrances (so you can mix your own special combination), what a good candle should look like and how it should burn. After you can experience a simple method to making lovely fragrant bar soaps at home.
Both are presented in an easy-to-understand step-by-step manner and include a reference guide you can follow (then take home).
No note-taking required!
Courses are generally held in the morning or early afternoon (11am or 1:30pm) and dates can sometimes be flexible - on request. The duration is approximately 4 hours.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
