About the Course
Calligraphy and Canapes in the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors at Yorkshire Kitchen Table, run by the talented Christine Ward. Nestled at the foot of Sutton Bank, you will be assured of a warm welcomeand plenty of proper Yorkshire hospitality.
Over the course of the day you will learn how to prepare three deliciously impressive canapes, just in time for the Christmas season. In addition, Jools and Helen of Calligraphy Harrogate will lead a workshop in Modern Calligraphy for Beginners so you can add some hand lettered loveliness to your festive table.
Under Christine’s careful guidance, you will use a variety of cooking skills to produce make-ahead canapes, designed to take the stress out of entertaining. Prepare to wow your guests with Prosciutto Palmiers, with honey and mustard, Chorizo and Gruyere Choux Puffs, and Parmesan Shortbreads.
As part of this fabulous day, Calligraphy Harrogate will also be covering all the basics to get you started with this wonderful art form. There will be opportunities for making stylish labels for your Canapes, place names for your Christmas feast, favour tags and even menus for the more adventurous!
