Spend a day learning how to become more creative with your cake decorating, making a realistic wooden barrel planter full of wonderful flowers.
The day will include using sugarpaste to cover your cake board to make it look like paving, creating realistic wooden planks to form a wooden barrel and making daisies and leaves to fill the barrel. You will also learn how to use edible dusts to create a realistic finish and texture.
This is the perfect workshop for all abilities. All tools, materials, 2 course lunch served with a glass of local wine are included. Nothing to bring, just yourself. By the end of your session you will take away a beautifully decorated dummy cake.

Tutor Sue Shuttleworth is an exceptionally talented tutor and Sugarcraft artist. Her patience, skill and dedication to her craft has seen her become an international award-winner in wedding cake designing and Sugarcraft artist. With over 35 years’ experience in the craft and accomplished a PME Masters Certificate in Sugarcraft, she has expanded into teaching to share her passion and love for the artform.
