This course is aimed at applicants who want to progress in to the Interior design industry who may already have some experience or an interest in refurbishing residential properties. The course will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to design residential interiors and prepare for design related employment.
This course is designed to let you study around your family and work commitments. Learning takes place in fully equipped design studios.
Teaching involves lectures and design workshops; where you will be introduced to drawing skills, colour theory styling, computer aided design (CAD), conceptual and spatial thinking to help you understand the creative design process and develop ideas for a client brief.
There will be visits to exhibitions, galleries and trade fairs and all sessions will be delivered by professional lecturer and practising Interior architect.
Students who have undertaken this course have developed the skills and confidence to progress into self-employment, Higher education and the Interior design Industry.
