This level 4 course is designed to provide a competitive edge for those wishing to pursue a career in photography. The programme has been built to offer in-depth practical and theoretical explorations into current practices in conceptual, editorial and commercial photography. During the course you will build on your knowledge by studying eight units.
The broad variety of units will provide an abundance of opportunities to discover the area of photography you are particularly passionate about. You will explore practical aspects of photography and will acquire extensive skills in studio lighting, industry based digital post production, analogue photography and b&w darkroom printing, which will enable you to produce impactful photographic images.
The theoretical units will provide an historical and cultural framework that will inform your understanding of photography in a wider context. Throughout your studies you will develop the strong collaborative working, problem solving and communication skills that you will need to succeed.
Our group sizes are small and our close-knit team of specialist staff will coach and guide you in professional practice, helping you to find your voice and develop a strong portfolio that is truly valued by potential clients and employers.
