About the Course
Be inspired by the wildlife found in the hedgerows and meadows of Kingcombe and create your own unique native British wildlife in clay.
This one-day workshop will start with a demonstration guiding you through the basic hand-building techniques needed to create your own unique native British mammal. You will make your own creation with guidance and support every step of the way, learning how to mould and shape the clay to create expressive facial features, textures and detailing. By the end of the workshop you will have hand-built and painted your beautiful characteristic animal in clay. It will be taken away to dry and be kiln fired, ready to collect a couple of weeks later.
