About the Course
At this workshop we will explore colour mixing and matching in watercolour, using flowers, leaves, fruit and vegetables as our subjects. We will start by experimenting with mixing just three colours to create bright then muted hues. You'll be amazed at the range of hues that emerge from such a limited palette! We will then apply what we have discovered to various botanical subjects using some of the watercolour techniques used by botanical artists. There are a number of dates for this workshop, please visit the website for more information.
You can turn any of our courses into a short break by staying in our on site accommodation. When you book a residential package you will get discounted accommodation in our stylish boutique hostel located in the centre of Cirencester in the Cotswolds right next door to New Brewery Arts. We offer guest accommodation for up to 43 people over two floors in 14 rooms, with a choice of single, bunk, family and double bedrooms, 12 with en-suite facilities. A ground floor disabled-friendly room is also available. The hostel provides a stylish communal dining and relaxation area, self-catering kitchen, laundry facilities and lockers for your bike.
