In this one day class Martin will be demoing, in the morning, some boro basics: creating marbles with different patterns inside, he will be explaining, in detail how to achieve the different techniques and guiding you as you create your pieces.
Small blown vases - how to master some basic blown techniques such as pulling points and how to perfect blowing .
Boro pendants & loops – techniques and tools involved in creating flower pendants and how to make secure loops that will last.
In the afternoon it will be “torch time” to practice what you have learnt in the morning and a chance to ask questions, should you have any!
This class is suitable for people with some good experience working with soft glass that wish to take the next step but are unsure where to start and is equally ideal for people who are working in small scale boro work looking to develop their skills.
All glass will be included in the cost of the course for the day.
