This Workshop is an introduction to bookbinding where you will learn the basic use of bookbinding materials and tools together with some simple structures that can be made with little specialized equipment.
This Workshop is ideal for those who wish to learn simple forms for presenting work or art work or for building a fundamental knowledge of bookbinding.
Sarah Jarrett-Kerr trained at Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts in the 1970s. From there she set up a bindery at The British School in Rome. Since then she has always had her own studio, working from home and taking private commissions. For more than five years she has led a bookbinding workshop for first year students at South Devon College. From time to time she gives private lessons.
