Logie Steading Courses
About the Course
Bookbinding from scratch is suitable for beginners, but will also include more challenging book structures for any with previous bookbinding experience.
Any special projects in mind? Laura West (Isle of Skye Bindery) is happy to guide you in using the correct structure to 'make it happen.'
Book Repair is also taught, with new materials and techniques to be explored. Both Laura and her assistant will be on hand to help you in restoring and stabilising your favourite books.
Laura is also running a Leather Masterclass - this a prerequisite for anyone wanting to work with leather.
These two courses run simultaneously since 2 lecturers will be on hand. Numbers will be limited to ensure as much one-to-one tuition as possible.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course
fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be
provided at the point of booking.
