Our hand carved wooden printing blocks come direct from artisans in India, where they have been used for printing fabrics for centuries.
These blocks are incredibly versatile, and as well as fabric can be used on paper & card, plus used to add designs to clay & soap or used to apply body paints...
If you love what you learn, creativity kits will be available for you to purchase on the day - at a discounted rate for this event only. Go on to create your own greeting cards, upcycle fabrics and design your own clothes! Payment by either cash or card accepted.
Suggested ages 5* plus - no upper limit! (*please note children MUST be accompanied by an adult)
No previous experience needed - suitable for all abilities. We will learn all of the techniques together with plenty of practice fabric for you to perfect your technique. All materials needed will be supplied, including a disposable apron (please feel free to provide your own crafty apron if you have one!)
We will be working with fabric paints, please note these will stain your clothes if you get them on you... We recommend you avoid wearing tops with floaty / loose sleeves...
