By the end of the course you will be able to
Design and cut a pair of coordinating lino blocks for printing onto paper and cloth
Prepare dyes, dye pad and hammers to create a series of crisp repeated prints
Develop varied patternmaking with overprints and colour combinations
Make a cushion sized fabric, or a short length of printed paper or wallpaper
Class format and activities
This highly practical workshop will take you through all the stages of designing, cutting and printing a range of alternative pattern repeats on fabric and paper. All techniques can easily transfer to a kitchen table and be continued at home.
Tutor's samples, books and artist images will inspire your designs.

In order to ensure that you make the best possible progress on your course, you will have regular feedback from your tutor, in a constructive and supportive environment.
