About the Course
This one day course will introduce you to the next level of Blacksmithing and hand forge work. Completion of our Blacksmithing Beginners course or some previous experience is required.
It aims to advance your skills to the production of a multi part piece such as a candle or tea light holder or hook rack.
Forges are hot and can be noisy- eye & ear protection will be provided and please wear solid boots and clothes suitable for working in (made of natural fibres). Forges can be smoky, if you have any respiratory ailments please bear this in mind.
Participants must be fit and agile enough to stand all day by the forges, wield a hammer multiple times and be outside in the weather at this time of year.
Please let us know if you have any specific requirements or needs. Refundable up to two weeks prior to course (minus £30 admin fee). No refunds for cancellations within two weeks of course. All adult courses are for 16 years or over.

What's included in the price?
All materials and tool use are provided for you on the day. Refreshments and biscuits throughout the course. Please bring a packed lunch, notebook and pen and wear suitable clothes for working outdoors.
