Besom brooms & Gypsy flowers

X

Description

Besom brooms are made from the twiggy growth of the birch tree, and so the craft was particularly strong in areas where birch coppices abounded.

Also, learn how to make gypsy flowers another craft traditionally done using coppiced hazel.

Please note a good degree of manual dexterity is needed & you will be using all your body to grip/work material.

Please dress appropriately for working outdoors in this season & wear appropriate footwear for an outdoor workshop environment.
