About the Course
Gain the Basics of this Medium.
Watercolour can be a tricky medium with a mind of it's own! In this workshop we will examine how the beginner can learn to manage the paint and gain the benefit from using it to enable beauty and clarity. Using simple steps we will accomplish techniques such washes which are the first part of a painting. After this we will learn how to add detail to make a decent piece of work. You will learn how to keep a clean palette, which brushes to use and how to control the pigment and water. This workshop is ideal for those who wish to learn the basics of watercolour form the ground up.
