Join Harriet for a one-to-one beginners sewing session, this can be booked for a one-off or multiple sessions.
You may bring your own machine or one can be provided for you.
At the beginning we will walk through the basics of a sewing machine, learning how to:
- Thread a bobbin,
- Thread the machine.
We will then move onto basic stitches, practising different stitches on a scrap piece of material until you pass your 'machine license'.
We will then move onto creating a simple project from our small choice of projects including:
- An envelope style cushion,
- A pom pom scarf,
- and a variety of other small projects.
We can also tailor the session for you to meet your requirements and skills.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
All materials are included, a sewing machine can be provided, however it would be better to bring your own so you can get used to it.
Tea, Coffee and biscuits are available during the session, please bring any other drinks for the session if you don't drink tea/coffee.
