About the Course
Learn the knitting basics so you can join the knit and natter movement with confidence! Class for beginners taught by Jane Brumwell of Yorkshire wool specialists Baa Ram Ewe using their gorgeous local wools. You will learn in a small group under the impressive beamed eaves of our medieval building in the centre of York. Unfortunately, this is on the second floor with no lift - we apologise if this prohibits anyone joining in.
This is one of our short up-skill and new-skill classes. We also host all-day Heritage Workshops which explore the history as well as the skills of different crafts.
Our classes cover knitting, crochet, rag-rugging, embroidery, macramé, needle-felting, shisha mirror work, goldwork, Kumihimo braiding, appliqué and traditional mohair teddy bear making.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
