Description:

Introduction to vitreous enamelling Sat & Sun 10am-4pm (Max 4 attendees)

Come and learn the art of creating colourful jewellery using enamels.

On Saturday we’ll introduced you to a number of enamelling techniques such as torch-firing, stencilling, sgraffito and cloisonné using glass enamel and copper blanks.

In the afternoon you will have plenty of time to experiment using these techniques learned, with a view to creating and completing a silver and enamelled piece of jewellery on the Sunday.

All materials are included for experimenting with, and one piece of silver will be given to you for your final project on the Sunday.

What you need to bring to this class:

Refreshments but not lunch included, Long hair will need tying back due to health and safety reasons. Please also ensure you wear sturdy closed toe shoes on the day too.
