About the Course

The perfect introduction to crocheting with wire - no experience necessary, you don't even need to know how to crochet.

In this class you will learn:

• how to cast on stitches
• make foundation chain
• how to add in beads of all sizes
• add dramatic stitch variations
• finish off your piece and add a vintage button clasp

If you are new to crocheting with wire I recommend this class which I have designed specifically for beginners even if you have never crocheted before - you will be amazed what you can achieve with this highly versatile technique.

Even if you already know how to crochet this project will teach you all about working with wire, how it behaves, what it can and can’t do - and how it opens up a whole new world of 3-Dimensional design possibilities.

I make a point of setting one-day projects where you will leave with a finished piece - and keep my class sizes small so no-one is left struggling on their own.

The really great thing about these techniques is that you can carry on at home - armed only with a crochet hook, some wire and a few beads.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

ALL your materials are included in your fee, including a crochet hook, gorgeous coloured wire, plus a large choice of beautiful beads - and a step-by-step project book.

KEEP all these items to carry on making at home.

Information is given on materials, suppliers and recommended reading.

Building from this Beginners Class - you can move on to learning more complicated stitches and to build pattern and structure in my Level 2 Class - and ultimately to create circles in Level 3, my most challenging crochet class to date.

Free tea, coffee and biscuits are available throughout the day.

We break at 1pm for an hour for lunch. You are welcome to bring your own food or pop out to the many shops nearby.
