Glass artist Verity Pulford will guide you through the fundamental processes of creating fused glass. You will learn about cutting & grinding, creating & using stencils, painting using Glassline pens and ways to use various inclusions.
Over this two day course in Wernog Wood, you will design and make a number of fused glass pieces which may include a lantern, mirror frame, framed picture, a window hanging, set of coasters, dishes or curved freestanding waves. Some images will be supplied but feel free to bring your own designs or images to work from.
You will take away the knowledge required to begin fusing independently and you will have 2 or 3 finished pieces to have in your home or give as gifts. Your pieces will need to be fired & then collected or posted.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
Tea, coffee and simple lunch included in your course price. We also offer accommodation & evening meal but can discuss this on booking your space.
There is an additional charge of £50-£80 for glass & accessories, a mirror & / or a lantern, depending on what you choose to make.
