About the Course

Beginner Digital SLR Photography Workshop with Kathryn Fell

Have you just purchased a Digital SLR but you’re not sure how to use all the functionality? Or have you owned one for a while and want to stop photographing on Auto? This course covers the fundamentals of photography such as:

Understanding your camera settings
Lighting
Composition
How to achieve depth of field (that blurry affect)
Tips on photographing children, pets, groups and landscapes

What do you need to bring with you?

-Your Digital SLR camera
-Any lenses you have with the camera
-Clothes for outdoors (dress appropriately for the weather conditions) you may want to include wellies or walking boots for a wander outside - but be aware that the studio is pretty warm!
-Please bring your camera with a fully charged battery and double check you have a memory card in the camera
-Enthusiasm!

Refreshments are included as well as course notes to take away.
