About the Course
Work on your own projects and learn a number of techniques to make your own necklaces, bracelets and earrings out of beads including making your own findings (e.g. necklace clasps). Beginners are welcome to join in any term. Each term has a theme.
Term 1: Beading Stringing Essentials
Term 2: Stitched Beadwork
Term 3: Introduce chain into beaded jewellery designs
Who is this course for
This course is aimed at people with no previous knowledge of making jewellery and for those wanting to broaden their skills. Students should be interested and inspired by using beads to create interesting and innovative pieces of jewellery.
What does this course cover
On this course you will be learning a variety of beading techniques including macrame, using wire etc
- your own findings (earring wires, clasps etc)
You will learn the techniques in the first part of the course and then have the opportunity to work on your own projects and jewellery sets with tutor support
