Bats - adult beginners needle felting workshop
Description
An adult workshop aimed at beginners with tutor Natalie Harris (Brooks). Natalie is a fine artist using needle felting and the creator of Roly Poly Ponies. In the morning (10.30-12.00) the basics of what type of wool and needles are best for sculpting will be explained and then you will use some basic techniques to make the base shapes of our bats. When we return from our lunchbreak, we will spend the second half of the session (13:00-14:30) adding the details and finishing touches to our bats, then you can take them home, just in time for Halloween. Note that as Wightwick Manor is a historical venue, some floors may not be level and you will have to negotiate a flight of stairs. Full workshop terms and conditions are available upon request.
