About the Course
You will learn Batik techniques and take away some small practice samples and a completed piece approx 16 inch x 16 inch in 100% cotton but I have a variety of different shaped frames to choose from. When completed they look fabulous when framed.
Batik is an ancient method that uses hot wax and batik fabric dyes , the wax is ironed out once the design process is complete to leave the white background of the fabric.

I had a great introduction to Batik yesterday with Barbara. She was very hospitable and a great teacher. All the materials were provided, along with lunch and great cake. This was a technique I had been wanting to try for a long time. It was great to go home with pieces of work I would actually put up at home. Thank you for a great day Barbara.

I had a fabulous day learning how do do Batik with Barbara. She is an excellent teacher and everything was supplied. Due to her expert guidance, I left with some pieces of Batik that I will frame and hang in my home.
