About the Course

This workshop is the perfect introduction to the ancient art of basket making and will see you making an attractive platter and a small herb basket - in a day!

Making baskets is a fascinating skill to learn and the process can be extremely therapeutic. Your experienced tutor has been making baskets since the early 1990's, preferring to work with unstripped willow, a lot of which she grows herself.

This workshop is a suitable for beginners and also those who have some basket making experience. You will be guided through the making process, learning the various techniques required to make your two pieces.

Places on this workshop are limited to 8. If you would like to book a place, click on button above. If you have any questions about the workshop, please do not hesitate to contact us.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

All materials and equipment are provided – as are workshop aprons for you to wear during your day. The price of the workshop includes lunch.
