About the Course

In this course, Rachel E Millar will introduce participants to drawing and painting letters by hand. The weekend will include a demonstration of tools and a brief introduction to the history of the craft. Students will spend time practicing brush strokes on paper, and will then choose one short word to draft and to transfer to a prepared wooden board. The majority of the weekend will be spent on choosing colours and painting a one-word sign, which will be taken home at the end of the weekend.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

All materials, tools and safety equipment are included. We'll also provide a simple but delicious lunch each day you are with us.

You leave with a hand painted sign of your own.
