About the Course

Bargello stitching also known as Florentine creates great flame like designs that look just as much at home in modern interiors as traditional country piles.

This workshop will introduce you to 6 different bargello patterns which we stitch on plastic canvas and turn into your own "beat box" as well as looking super cool the box will become an aide memoir for your future bargello stitch projects.

Suitable for beginners and experienced stitchers alike this workshop is a great way to create something that is both useful and also an ornament. The resulting cube is 9cm square

Tina Francis is a tapestry needlepoint and textile artist whose work is exhibited around the UK, she runs Tina Francis Tapestry which produces kits and homewares with stitch at their heart. These beat boxes originally featured in XStitch magazine by Mr X Stitch where only one variation of bargello stitching was used.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
